1. Operating entity and contact

FolderBeacon is developed and operated by YANLONG CHEN, an individual developer. Contact: [email protected]. These terms cover this website and your use of FolderBeacon.

2. Software and compatibility

FolderBeacon is a downloadable macOS folder navigation utility. It requires macOS 14 or later and works with compatible Open and Save dialogs. App behavior can vary with third-party applications and macOS updates. Permission access can be managed in System Settings.

3. Lifetime license

A purchase grants a non-exclusive license for lifetime use of the purchased software on 3 Mac(s). This is a right to use the software, not a transfer of ownership. Includes all future FolderBeacon updates. Do not redistribute or resell the software or license, or circumvent license restrictions, except as permitted by applicable law.

4. Price and payment

The base price is US$12, charged once. Applicable tax is added at checkout; any supported local currency conversion and final total are shown by Paddle. There is no automatic renewal. Paddle is our payment provider and Merchant of Record for purchases made through Paddle Checkout; its checkout terms also apply.

5. Refunds and support

Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy. For payment or activation problems, contact [email protected] with your purchase email and order reference. Do not send card numbers or passwords.

6. Responsibilities and changes

We aim to keep the software reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every third-party application. Back up important files. Changes to these terms will be published with an updated date and will not retroactively remove rights granted by an existing purchase. Nothing in these policies limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
